How close do you live to your nearest WP member?

I'm not too far away from ShamanicExp and DMS20 (guy with the Santeria skull-looking avatar) based on what their location reads on their post profiles. Anyone else in OC/LA area I'm missing, and what are thoughts on a regular meeting up locally like every week or so? /pitch

Geographically, how close are you all to other members in your region? I'm visualizing a big map with colored push pins marking each member's location, sort of the way my old 'boss' and I made one for all the moped shops in the USA

I don't know. You see, I know some of the towns and cities some English members come from, but haven't said my own city. It starts with N and has 10 letters , if you want to work it out...

There's a guy who lives in the town 40 minutes north of me. He has less than 50 posts though.

Next closest would probably be Sockface who lives near Newcastle (3 hours away).

Only by a few miles. I have no idea how long it take me to get there nor know exactly where he lives. Plus I have no idea where other members live who are also in the same area as me.

13.5kms or 21 minutes, though I could get over there in under 10 if challenged.

Speaking of which, we really should get together again soon. It's been almost a year I think. Should be time for a computer tune up.

We bombard each other everyday with our interest du jour. Were the only two human beings that that seem to just "get it" in both of our "social"(misnomer) and familial lives.

The closest person who knows me would be about 22 miles away, but the closest person I've seen on the forum (mainly in my lurking days I believe) would be slightly closer than that.

Errmm nobody lives anywhere near where I live - as far as I know nobody here lives that far down south.

Several members live somewhat close to where I work though.

There is a member who doesn't come here anymore (Phaire?? or something) who lives 20 mins away from where I work.
Aussiebloke lives 25 mins away from where I work.
WhoAmI lives in the vicinity, though I am not sure exactly where.

I don't know how many other members we have in Brisbane?
