I'm mentally attracted to neon colors?

I have always been mentally drawn to neon type colors, like bright neon green neon purple neon pink etc especially surrounded in darkness, for some reason it has always been aesthetically appealing to me, can anyone else out there relate?

Neons are awesome, even more so if used in OP art.

I used to have red neon lights in my computer case, I found this much more appealing than the ceiling light, which always seemed to bright.

I've also been more drawn to neon colours my entire life. I also wear them as well. I tell my friends that I wear those colours for safety reasons which is partly true.
