I used to catch bugs & other small animals as a kid & keep them a while before letting them go. Most of them were pretty common animals in my area thou like grasshoppers, lizards, geckos, snails, crickets, beetles, turtles, moths, mosquito-hawks quickly come to mind; I had a bull-frog 1ce too. I quit catching 10/15 years ago. The pet I have now is a chinchilla which are exotic rodents. This is NOT a picture of her; I did a google image search. She does look like this thou

Even though I don't consider any of them unusual I currently have two painted turtles, one goat, two dogs one mutt one Chihuahua, four cats, two doves, five fish, and six chickens. In the past I had pet tree frogs, albino frogs, snapping turtles, Shetland ponies, rattle snake, ferrets, and rehabbed a river otter, a red hawk and a couple owls.

Oh cool, a bunch of bug catchers! I used to get in trouble in school for keeping bugs and garter snakes in my desk. In the past I've had snakes, lizards, newts, salamanders, frogs, turtles, fish, rabbits, dogs, cats, a very short-lived parakeet I won at a carnival. Now I don't have any pets, but there are plenty of anoles, geckos, skinks and feral chickens, turkeys, kalij pheasants, cats, and mongoose that I consider friends.
