With the exception of floor hockey, the only kind of sports I like are water sports.

My dirty mind made me think this was something else until I clicked this thread.

I like to swim but not really as a sport. When I was a kid, I was forced to take swimming lessons and got quite good at all the strokes, but was afraid to go off the diving blocks and couldn't turn a flip at the end of the pool, so I couldn't be on the swim team.

Actually, the reluctance to dive is related to my dislike of being upside down in general.

This is the same for me.

Me too. Clearly this whole forum is populated by dirty minded people :)

In answer to the original question, I like swimming but that's the only water related activity I do.

Although I rarely go in water, I enjoy it when I do.

Swimming is fun, but I love snorkeling. Truthfully I'm too scared to go scuba diving but I'm extremely comfortable snorkeling.

I find this thread interesting, because I am a swimmer myself, but also because I have seen a few children with Autism or PDD who love the way the water feels, in a way no NT kid does.

The heaviness of water feels nice, but I can't swim (I plan on fixing that soon :D). Currently, I just end up playing D&D in the water using waterproof maps and a table of floating plastic slabs. We also use foam dice so nobody has to dive for dice.

I enjoy sailing and to a lesser extent water skiing. I used to enjoy inter tubbing but the effect has really worn off on me. I enjoy windsurfing but I cannot windsurf where I live, same with snorkling. I don't enjoy swimming.
