A guy I'm acquainted with is running for mayor here. I happen to know he's rather a hard partier.

A liquor store that I drive past on my way to work every morning has a big sign on the side of the building that says, "We appreciate your business!"

This morning, underneath the "We appreciate your business!" sign was a HUGE campaign poster with the guy's name in giant letters. :lmao:

That's funny. Recently, I was looking at a housing website to prove that people who suddenly have a lot of money have no taste whatsoever in interior decoration. When I was looking at the category of houses over €1,000,000, it had an advertisement for helping orphans in Africa through group homes: "every child deserves a good home," with a picture of a starving child next to it. Talk about guilt-inducing ads. I don't think these people sell a lot of houses that way.

I've encountered a few. One was an ad for Camel cigarettes with a lung cancer ad above it, another was for a weight-loss program and had a Wendy's Baconator ad by it, and a sex shop with a planned parenthood billboard behind the store. I'm now beginning to believe it is intentional (after seeing many such ads).
