Are you extremely jumpy and ashamed of being it too?

I used to get bullied at school for being jumpy as a male and people tried to scare me on purpose all the time to watch me go nuts to it.

I wonder if other people over here have this issue too?

At an old job when i was concentrating on a task, i would get all jumpy when interrupted, then get written up for it.

I have to sit with my back to my door with headphones on at work because of some large built-in furniture. There are some people who make it a sport to creep up behind me . I need a mirror, but then I'd be distracted by the movement every time someone walked past.

I am very "jumpy." I hate it. I was teased for it in school, too.

Light touch and loud noises set me off the most.

I'm very jumpy, and easily scared. The cheapest horror movie will scare me to death, while others are like ".. what.. this isn't scary..."

I'm dioagnosed with PTSD because the psychs thought my jumpiness was from being bullied. i was bullied a lot but I think I would still be easily startled if I wasn't
