what should i get my comrade for her birthday?

i hope it is alright for me to ask this. i do not know if this is the appropriate place for it. my other comrade suggested i get her an ipod case from sports girl because she was eyeing hers and she would get her big rings so i did but i am not sure if this is enough. it cost $13. it looks pretty but i do not know if it is sufficient. and i do not know how to package/wrap it.

It sounds really cheesy but its also the thought that counts, if you're unsure about that present then it might be better to get her something else :o In my experience, you could wrap your present in something birthday related, like wrapping paper with cakes on it or maybe smileys, something in that direction, i wouldn't reccomend any paper related to holidays though. Oh and if you still want to get the ipod or something she can listen music on, how about you check how much GB it has and other specifications and if the brand is any good :o? That's what i would check first, and if you really run out of ideas you can also make a card and put a gift certificate in it from a certain store or something similar so she can buy something herself :) Those are just my ideas, feel free to do anything you like though, and good luck VMSmith!

It doesn't matter how "cheap" or "expensive" something is, it's the fact that you bought your friend something they specifically wanted. I always tended to ask for cheap items and people would feel like they needed to spend more, which always drove me insane. I'd just tell them to donate to charity if they absolutely *needed* to spend more. Practical gifts are the best!
