Anyone else here have overly big feet? I'm a UK size 14/15 and find it pretty damn hard to find anything that fits. Luckily I've found a lot online. I shall be taking up badminton soon and have read that it's best to wear shoes specifically for badminton, but I can't find anything in a size 15!! Closest I've come across is a 13. Are bigger sizes more common in America at all?

Big shoes are not a common thing in America, take it from someone who knows.

I wear a women's 13 (which, I may add, is HUGE); so I either have to go on the internet (too expensive), get them at Payless (where they fall apart in a month), or get guy shoes (kind of difficult to find gender neutral shoes that aren't Converse).

I always have this problem. Whenever I need dress shoes the only place I can get them is at Payless, but they feel like cardboard most of the time. Whenever i need regular shoes I usually have to resort to a men's one, especially since I can only tolerate wide shoes. I have never tried to buy them online though.

Wide feet here pain to find the right fit.

I also have a wide feet problem, they're not overly big, just wide, and most shoes are not made for that i suppose :x

I wear either a US size 12 wide width or a size 13, depending on the manufacturer. It can be quite difficult for me to find shoes that meet my specifications and are plain enough and the proper color for my taste. I had to replace my flip flops last week and there was only one set in size 13 on the rack.

I'm a size 10 which isn't too bad. My ring size is a 12 possibly bigger than that. Yay for big bones!

My feet are large and unusually wide, which makes finding shoes in my region quite difficult. When I do finally find a pair that doesn't look like you shoved your foot into a platypus' keester and are comfortable, I make sure to purchase multiple pairs.

What I have a hard time with is boots. I can buy wide calf boots online, but not in store because I hate shopping in stores.

I said it once but I'll say it again, hooray for being plus-sized and having large bones.

I have huge feet; size 15 wide (US). I have a hard time finding shoes and boots. Sometimes I have to go find what I want in the store, and get the model number, and go online to find them in my size. Other times, (Excuse any unintended racial reference), but I have found that shoe stores in areas with a significant African-American population, tend to have a much better selection of large sizes, in my own experience. Not saying any race has bigger or smaller feet, and I couldn't care less. Simply mentioned this for convenience for anyone needing bigger shoe sizes.

I also have wide feet. The problem is that designers don't put into account that people's feet like their bodies come in all shapes and sizes.

Well...I guess I should note that I don't wear very big shoes (size . However, there's a store in the city that I live that specializes in larger footwear. It's called Big Footz.

I know that when I shop in Chinatown they never have shoes that fit my feet but I'm never surprised. I'm a size 8 (Canadian) but I have wide toes so sometimes it's hard to find the right fit for me.

I have slightly wider feet. Nothing crazy. I like Euro sizing a bit better, I fit 42s and 43s pretty well. US sizes are all stupid, but most of the time I'm about a 10, but it's more 9.5 or sometimes 10.5. ugh. I like wearing my shoes sorta tight, though, it helps my balance. I also like shoes without a compressible sole, like something flat like a Vans or Converse. I got Vivo Barefoots which feel awesome, but their durability sucks (I tore the side of them.) I also like boots with a stiff sole, too, but I don't like compressible soles, as it gives me less ground feel. I can't really wear Converses anymore because they're too narrow, but Vans are still good. I also got lower arches, too.

I have wide feet too & I always get wide shoes but my toes feel cramped on the sides a little unless I get a half a size bigger. The problem I have with getting bigger shoes is that my feet are lose in them so I have to tie them or velcro them tighter than they should be & the sides of my feet start hurting after wearing them a while. I've gotten ingrown toenails 3x(one big toe was one time & the big toe on my other foot was 2wice) when I was working because I was wearing my shoes alot since I was working alot & the shoes were the rite size but not quite wide enough. I usually go barefoot around the house so the shoes that are tight on the sides of my toes aren't a problem sense I'm usually not wearing shoes for a long period of time. The other problem I have with shoes is that I'm not great at tying them because of bad motor-skills & a tremor disorder that acts up when doing things with fine motor-skills so I prefer velcro shoes instead of 1s with laces but velcro shoes are alot harder to find. I should look for a new pair of shoes next time I got to the store I got my last pair from. I don't need them now but the pair is getting worn & it may take me a while to find new 1s because finding them at that store is hit & miss & I don't go there much.
