Facebook deletion.

It's been long overdue really. At least for me, it's the most pointless thing around. I never had any friends that live near me on mine as I find that to be even more pointless. I can't say I'm too fond of how much Facebook makes me feel like I'm being watched. Today is the start of a new life for me though and I can easily say I feel invigorated that I've deleted my account. Here's to now doing more worthwhile things in my spare time rather than playing games on there

Hopefully more and more people will eventually realise things about Facebook that make them wonder what the hell they're doing, leading to them getting rid. Life is too short to waste it updating "friends" on what you're doing every five minutes.

Of course not everybody uses it in the same way, but the majority I've seen seem to have no shame in what they post. And for me, like I said, I just don't feel that safe on there with locations etc being known by God knows who. I have email, MSN to share what I want/need to share with my friends, all away from their friends I don't know seeing my life.

I finally got rid of my facebook account a few days ago. I'd only logged into it a couple of times over the last year. So I unfriended everyone and deleted all my posts & photos etc and changed my avatar to an image of the words "Account closed" so folks know I've gone.

I got sick of friend requests from strangers or people inviting me to play various rubbishy games. Everything on my wall consisted of crap posted by people who I didn't know! Facebook seems a complete waste of time to me.
