I keep on wondering where in the US, or the world for that matter, would be the best place for an Aspie to live, where the discrimination from NT's would be limited, or even, nonexistent! Noodle that question around and give me your best answer.

No place is perfect, but I imagine places like Seattle, the San Francisco Bay area, and Austin would be Aspie-friendly.

My web searches for resources (when I was first diagnosed) yielded the conclusion that the Seattle metro area is above-average in awareness, diagnosis, support groups, alternative treatments, etc. Or maybe they just get better publicity than other parts of the country.

But years ago, long before my diagnosis, when I was at a turning point in my life and trying to decide what I wanted to "be", and where I wanted to live, I went to a large library and found some very useful books full of demographic statistics. They narrowed down my field of interest to a practical level.

I know a place where a woman will never leave me or cheat on me---

Saudi Arabia.

I'd say anywhere as far away from a small town as possible. I lived in a small town for a couple of years and it was pure hell. I was shunned out as soon as I moved in, I had no friends at all, I was constantly getting harrassed, and I had nothing in common with those people. I'm liking where I live now much better.
