What I would like to do is not there, so I'll answer the question "which of these would you prefer to do at the weekend?". Honestly, none of them.

The picnic idea sounds nice, but it would be with people I don't know too well (even if I was in long term employment). Also there is the issue of the weather and prevalence of food: is it bring-your-own, or is it an organised seated affair? Is there alcohol? Are there activities? Is it mandatory, or is it for anyone who wants to go and their spouses? Is it the section I work in, or the entire company?

I feel it's a day wasted if I sleep late, and I spend enough time on the internet as it is.

I don't have any "lost" relatives, and have perhaps 4 around my age. With the rest it would start of with the "so are you done the school yet" and "have you got a girlfriend yet" line of questioning, then it would dwindle and I would do as I always do which is sit with a non-alcoholic drink as others talk. Occasionally they would ask me if I wanted a drink and I would decline despite there profuse offerings. They would try engage me in sports talk, which I don't care about, and ultimately fail and move on to other relatives.

I'm not very fond of crowds, and the only shops that could interest me for long periods of time are bookshops and tech shops. Shopping centres are not full of those, more fashion for the skinny-skinnies with more money than style. Also, I only really like to go shopping when there is an item I really want to buy. I dislike, for example, shopping for clothing as it is a drawn-out affair where I spend more money than I'd like on less clothes than I need.

I'm sure many people would be able to pick one, but not me. So that's that.

Depends on my mood. Usually I get tired over the week, so a quiet and relaxing weekend is my usual choice. I do enjoy some activities from time to time and I like some of my relatives.

Well for me i prefer sitting at home and surfing net during the weekend.

About office picnic well today my office staff have gone for a picnic but i declined going since i dont have any friends there....its a noisy waterpark they are visiting and i would just be out of place.

Long lost relatives well i prefer them lost and not to be found they are practically useless just like Mr.Spock mentioned they keep bringing up questions which i dont have any answers to

Lastly visiting the mall is fine i occassionally visit the mall and do some household shopping....i buy lot of dresses which end up lying in the closet since i barely socialise and they are not used.

I love how every single person so far has answered "sleep and surf the Internet".

I'm one of them.

Out of those 4 choices, I would stay home and surf the web. However, my more ideal thing to do would be to get together with one or two friends and accomplish something. This could be anything from an engine swap to planting a garden, so long as it was practical. I'm not much for partying and not interested in doing anything where I have to dress nicely, but I do enjoy sharing time and experiences with others that involve solving problems.

My ideal weekend plan is cuddling with my girlfriend but since that's not a poll option I vote for "Sleep lazily at home and surf the net" because that's what I usually do most everyday when I can

I'd only go to the mall if I had a ton of money to blow otherwise I'd prefer to stay at home, get my homework and reading out of the way and laze around on the Internet.

ya there is no boyfriend/girlfriend culture here in india
its arranged marriage
and sooner then later people fall out of love
and its just dragging on in the marriage
i just end up fighting with my husband every weekend
if i had a boyfriend probably it would be fun to romance during weekend.
