I love sweats. In my mind they are the greatest kind of pantswear. Great for keeping you warm, modest, and they allow for complete flexibility without hindrance.

I have seen fashion shows and articles where people mostly women into fashion put people down who wear sweatpants on a regular basis, like mothers, fathers, and sometimes even teenagers and young kids. I love wearing them though. I also find women look attractive in them, not all, but many do. Men look acceptable.

All I pretty much wear are sweatpants. I guess I've let myself go.

People on the spectrum wear comfortable clothing because of sensory sensitivities. For an NT who usually wears tight waisted jeans or slacks, only feeling comfortable in sweatpants is the first sign that their waistline has outgrown their pants size.

If you wear something more fashionable it seems like you've put more effort in it. And others like that. This is a social thing obviously

As long as you don't go around wearing pajama bottoms in public like half my town does, I don't care what you look like. I never have and never will understand the pajama bottoms trend. It makes people look like trashy slobs too lazy to put on actual clothes for a public outing.

Some people look more elegant in sweatpants than I would in an evening gown.

I haven't done it yet but I understand it and have thought about doing it. They are comfortable. With some it's obvious what they are but I have one plain black pair that could probably pass for regular pants. Ones with kitties and teddy bears on it couldn't. At this point in my life I don't care how I look to others. I just want to be comfortable. Soft fabric and elastic waistbands are more comfortable than jeans, even loose ones.

I actually might start after I have my surgery if I go out since I think I only have one pair of sweatpants that will be loose enough to not irritate my incisions. After I had my appendix out several years ago I couldn't wear jeans for at least a month.

I've thought of getting hakama and wearing them all the time but the tying seems complicated. I don't like pants that tie and I don't know if the Japanese have invented hakama with elastic waists. The miko outfit looks pretty comfortable but I'd prefer all black rather than red and white.

I love sweatpants. It's feels like walking around with the comfort of your nice warm bed all day. Having said that, I try not to wear them too much. They're almost all I wear around the house, but I generally follow NT clothing conventions when I go out.
It has it's advantages. Unfortunately this is somewhat necessary for making the NTs respect us; when they respect us it's easier to get the things we want out of them.

Additionally, I think women are attractive in them.
