This is what happens when you neglect to teach your weeds the dangers of inbreeding.

I am :D I love freaks of nature but the only one I found in my whole life was a clover with 4 leaves. It was in 1997, I still keep it. Your flower looks like Siamese triplets.

That dandelion is cool. Did you eat it? You might have gotten mutant powers.

Every time I see any place with clovers growing in, I can't help searching for any other clovers like that but that was the only one.

no, back then i didn't know they were edible

i only learned they were edible when i went through a phase around age 10 when i became interested in edible/medicinal plants. Because of that, i also learned that Dandelions were both not originally weeds, and not even native to this land.
Apparently they had medicinal purposes and were brought here from Europe.
Most people just think of them as weeds though these days and try to eradicate them.

Geez, do you live near a nuclear waste factory or something? Just kidding. I would have loved to find that dandelion in my yard. :)

Did you freeze the dandelion or anything? My grandmother still had some of my parents' wedding cake 10 years after they got divorced - lol!

You could've frozen that dandelion and taken it out once a year - people would've started a pilgrimage.

you notice in the pic that at the bottom of the stalk, it'd started splitting and curling upwards?

This is called "fasciation" - it happens occasionally to a variety of different plants. It can be due to a genetic mutation in part of the plant, or damage caused by bacteria, insects etc.

Beware, dandelion is a uretic, its local name where I come from is "pissy-bed".
