I thought it was funny when I found out, because it's mentioned often here.

Last night while I was dyeing her hair we were talking about the color of the dye. I said "It's like My Little Pony pink or something" and she said "Oh my God my friend Kenneth loves My Little Pony and he draws them on his binder all the time" and I said "He's a bronie?" She said "YOU KNOW WHAT A BRONIE IS????" She was shocked. She doesn't like it anymore but it doesn't bother her. The girl spending the night over here tonight is a MLP fan.

Unlike my daughter and her Hello Kitty fetish, her friends watch the cartoon they like. Then again, my daughter likes punked out demon Hello Kitty, not actual HK.

I thought I'd post that because I got a kick out of it. I hadn't met anyone older in real life who likes it, or I did't think I had. It's apparantly a big thing at the high school now. She said over half her class likes it.

I wonder when they will goth out the ponies.

Half of the fandom is deteriorating in to garbage as time goes on.

What a nice story! :D My brother knew a girl who was a Pegasister in high school. Apparently she had an obsession with the character DJ-P0N3/Vinyl Scratch and drew pictures of that character all the time.

That's a very cool story. I think the fandom is still alive and well. I also think it's awesome how it came back even better than the original concept in the 1980s. 8)
