The forum's been pretty slow and quiet at times today with a shocking interval of up to 25 minutes 8O between posts at times!

And it made me wonder: Since so many people here are self-confessed recluses or have become metaphorically welded to their keyboards as a result of their preference for the virtual world over the real one, where were you all today?

What does an Aspie (or other) do on a Sunday afternoon in [September?]? Especially if it's pouring down like it is where I am.

I've personally spent absolutely all day in bed. I'm wearing my standard weekend outfit (pyjamas), I've barely moved, my partner's been bringing me lunch, biscuits and the occasional drink. I've had my cat curled up against me for extended periods. My Kindle is ready and waiting beside me. And yes, my laptop is overheating in the folds of my quilt.

I have been doing almost the exact same thing you have.

At home in my pajamas, cooking split pea soup, taking care of my 4-year-old, and refreshing this forum obsessively. :)

Considering I don't have a life, I'm always astounded by how busy I am. I often wonder how other people cope with life, since they must have 10x the things to do. I don't know where the time goes. I never get to half the things I intend to do.

I'm like that Trencher. I think it's because I find that the world moves so fast and I just can't keep up.

Also, I was at Knockhill today.

I am at home on my computer, studying for a test and refreshing WP.

Cleaned one of my offices and am doing homework. Going to have a bath and do some more homework.

I made 15 seconds of a stop motion video.
I walked the dog to Tesco in the rain to buy some dinner.
I gave him a bath because he was cold.
I watched quite a lot of TV programmes online.
Now I'm watching a documentary about Battersea Dogs Home whilst writing a packing list for when I go away next weekend.

I went to Subway and got lunch and dinner. I am about to get off my butt and finish installing the rear suspension in my Oldsmobile, if I can find the motivation to get out of bed again. Later, I will be going to work and delivering pizza.

Hmm, no particular order:

- Out shopping for a new mobile; found one
- Picking up studio monitors from a friend and colleage who is moving out of the country
- Ran into another friend; talked shop about mobile phones for a bit while accidentally distracting him from his shopping.

Quiet enough day.

Staying in bed all day just because sounds lovely. Though the last few times I tried it I got antsy and got out of bed after an hour or two.

I returned a bicycle I'd bought from a department store two miles away. From sitting in front of the computer all summer I put on a few pounds so, unfortunately, I couldn't ride the bike all the way. I'd say I rode 1/2 the way and rode the other 1/2. Then I walked back home. Before that I wrote a few pages in my novel. Before that I catalogued some new music in my digital collection, Orchestral Works of Max Weber. I'd also added some soundtrack albums to my digital collection. I collect soundtracks and game scores only if they're orchestral like John Williams or Patrick Doyle.

I went to the mall to buy clothes because my parents gave me money because it's my birthday today.
