...for what you are?

Like that you didn't deserve to be sharp in your shoes because you are not worth it to them or society in general?

Or do some people give you that impression when they're around you?

Even when they don't know you personally?

Hi Uprising. Good to see you again.

I think part of what you say applies to me. People certainly look down on me but they don't really accuse me of overconfidence because I'm way too insecure. Even those people who don't really know me pick up on that. Is what I'm saying in the right context? Does that often happen to you?

To be honest, yes, I do have the feeling that some people want me to go shy more and be more anxious about everything, the way I used to be.

They never tell it to my face or let me know it through words, but they do show me that body language, or at least I interpret it that way.

Can't say it's because they're douches or because it's just the damn truth.

You certainly shouldn't have to feel shy or anxious. They are not pleasant feelings. But my guess is that your feeling of inadequacy (due to AS) and/or your different behavior is being picked up by those useless people who love putting others down whenever they can. My experience is similar. I think I understand what you mean.

They could be jerks, but at the same time, we could too.

People who have never ever caused any harm to others in one point of their lives in any way, just simply don't exist.

Which doesn't mean we're all evil to the bone, but the human race was never built to live their life in a way humans expect each other to live, if you know what I mean.

Yeah, people have the right to call others "c***s" for what they do, but they don't and never have the right to call themselves "saints" in any way.

Sometimes we're just d@mned if we are, and d@mned when we aren't. It's useless to try to convince others one way or another.
