I'm really curious to know what the Autistic/HFA community think about the story of this indie video game, considering that I've found the story to be emotionally powerful and thought-provoking, regarding that it is strongly related to the issues many of us on the spectrum face.

To The Moon is an indie video game that was released about a year ago, although it plays out as an animated story rather than an actual game. There are heaps of YouTube chapters on it, but for efficiency sake: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TekZ5lKWlDQ

I won't spoil much, but in my honest opinion To The Moon would pretty much rank as one of the greatest stories I've seen so far. One of the reasons for this is due to my intense connection with one of the characters who happens to be diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, but it's a lot more in-depth than just that. I've found that the story puts a lot of emphasis on the character's limitations, their characteristics and intentions throughout the whole story that relates to the troubles many people with Autism/HFA deal with (i.e. the inability to express emotions properly, disconnection, etc.).
