In my town, nothing is crowded lol. Drivers tests are given every Thursday. At the probate office (tags, renewing drivers license, property taxes, etc) I've never seen more than two people in line. The only time I've ever had to wait was at court. That can take hours, but it's small and you can go outside to smoke and have somebody come get you if they call your name. Also, they have wifi, and you can also bring a book.

I've been at the DMV once just to get an I.D. card (I don't plan on driving until I'm a bit older) and it was horrible! It took so long to get my card, I was able to get food and go back in, only to find out that I still wasn't called up. I can only imagine what it will be like when I actually try to get my driver's license.
