Right now, everyone i know (I have no real friends) are out partying or doing something else social. I often ask people if I can come to parties etc, but they either they don't seem to care, or they tell me that I'm not welcome. I've never seen anyone, girls in particular, say something like "how cool! of course!".

Why does nobody care about me? I never get calls, texts, or Facebook chats. If I call, text or chat someone, they ignore me, or they'll just answer to be polite.

My life feels so f***ing bad and there is nothing I can do. :lmao: :shaking:

I went through the same thing and now I don't even care about being rejected or ignored anymore. Staying busy by doing hobbies, reading or doing schoolwork etc, will take your mind off of that. At least that's worked for me.

I had the same problem, but I just ignored them. Now I honestly don't care. I hate parties anyway, so I might as well stay at home and read.

I wouldn't care about the party thing, I hate them. Its just a socially "acceptable" excuse to get drunk and have a mass lowering of intelligence. Indulging in my hobbies feels much more rewarding.

Dear 1814, I think you have come to the right place; many of us could have written your post and have similar experiences.

Welcome!

Bingo.

I remember attending a Saturday night party once back when I was in school (probably about grade 7/8, so before drinking got involved)...I don't know if saying I hated it would be fully accurate. I was just shocked by how boring it was. I remember thinking it was the absolute most boring thing that I had ever experienced.

That reminds me of the of the school discos/dances I went to. For the most part you would just be sticking with the people you would socialize with during and outside of school anyway, it seemed pointless to me so I didn't go to many. This was only before high school, I had enough of those people by the end of the school day never mind spending extra time with them. So I never went to any during my time in high school. Even if I were to be drinking I wouldn't enjoy a party scenario. With any form of big social gathering with mostly people I don't know I just think about all the things I could be doing with my time, instead of socializing with people that I will most likely forget the names of the next day.
