I'll list a cople. I have more but these just sprang to mind.

1. Cockney Rebel. Micks got the strength and confidence to be his own person even when others around him sometimes push him to change and try to make things difficult for him. He also has the character to stick to his convictions even when it's difficult.

2. Hyperlexian. Moving to another country in (dare I say it) middle age. That took guts to step out there on a wing and a prayer like that. She's got a sense of adventure that I admire.

3. Fnord. Speaks his mind even though he knows that it many times will not be well received. He's not afraid to be unpopular at times, and although he is many times unpopular, I don't think he's ever unkind, even when he's debating in a somewhat forceful nature.

I'm sure I'll come up with more later on, but I wanted to go ahead and post those now.

Who do you admire on here, and why?

Heres another couple

Cornflake. He keeps a cool head and a civil tongue even in heated arguments and when attacked. He definately has grace under pressure.

Spongy. He doesn't hold a grudge and can easily be friends with someone who was horribly mean to him.

I told you that more would pop into my head.

Another is LabPet because she has done and is doing so extraordinarily well, while dealing with a challange that would make many people give up or not try in the first place. I don't mean that she's doing so well for somebody on the spectrum and who is mainly nonverbal, I mean she's doing so well for anybody who wants to be in that field. I think the stuff she learns and teaches is probably seriously difficult and would throw most people for a loop, yet she seems happy as a clam with it.

And also because I think she's some kind of super genius, and that's always great.

Barnabear. He is great for practical solutions and always tries to help people. He's a great online friend. He has faith in me.

Tallyman: Tells it like it is. Doesn't hold grudges.

Ruveyn: Graces us with his indomitable wisdom.

OliveOilMom: We disagree on spiritual matters, but she still treats me well.

More to come...

I admire everyone on WP, because we're brave enough to post everything about ourselves out in the open, where the entire world can see our posts. :)

kfisherx because despite her severe autistic traits, she has still managed to live a normal life and raise two kids and even drive a car and appear normal.

Spongy. I think he already knows why.

I don't feel I really know most of the others, TBH.

That Dillogic guy (someone mentioned me!):

He's far too handsome, strong, smart and cool to exist. Man, he'd need autism, OCD and clinical paranoia to counteract all of that; it'd be far too easy for him otherwise.

Firstly...I hope I've got the right person!! Ever since you stood up for me on that thread and you were really encouraging towards me (re: wardrobe) I've admired you since. Thank you for making me feel better.

1. Fnord, he has a number of beliefs that I disagree with but he helps me to improve my own logic and my own rationality through our debates and discourses. He has helped me to change certain beliefs I have had when I sit there and think about what he says because there are certain things he is correct about. Let's say I am north, I look at him as my south.

2. momsparky, she has shown me certain tools that have helped me with pragmatics of the english language. She is very intelligent and will go to bat and fight for her son to have an excellent life.

3. declension, he showed me how I was misinterpreting the concept of "undefined" in mathematics wrong. He walked me through it step by step and showed how division is defined.

4. league_girl, she knows how to give excellent and logical answers to my various questions and is very patient when I have ranted about crap.

Too many to name. There are a lot people deserving of admiration on WP just for the fact that they struggle every day and never quit.

Special shout out to the admirable and understanding mods for not banning me when I get riled up and post things without thinking. In my defense though a lot of those trolls deserved it and most of them ended up getting banned anyway.
