Apparantly this song was originally titled "Let's Get ret*d" and they had to change it because it include the "r" word.

It was done by black eyed peas, I think they changed it up for some car commercial... "Let's get it started" get it? Instead of "Let's get ret*d... IN HERE!" it was "Let's get it started in here!! !.. nahnahnahnahnahnah..."

I already knew that since I enjoy listening to the Black Eyed Peas and I heard the uncensored song on their Elephunk album back when I used to have CDs. :o

I remember hearing about this when the song came out. Some people took umbrage with the band for using the word, but most weren't bothered by it.

Same here. Been listening to their stuff for years. :thumright:

The way they used it in that song is kinda punny, so it doesn't bother me.
