Coping with Thanksgiving?

For those of us in the United States, Thanksgiving is coming up this Thursday.

So how do you deal with Thanksgiving? Do you enjoy it? Is it overwhelming? Would you rather stay home?

For myself, I'd sooner stay home.

This Thanksgiving is not going to be particularly great. Instead of one celebration, we have two -- noon at my younger brother's house and supper at his oldest daughter's house.

The supper at my niece's house appears to be mainly intended for her husband's side of the family although we are all invited. But at my younger brother's house will be a cousin with a rather snooty attitude and who I get tired of really quick.

I'm almost wishing for a case of the flu.

The best part of Thanksgiving is the Texas A&M - Texas game and that's not happening this year. Too bad, too since A&M would likely thrash them.
