I think Total Recall was a good SF movie but suffered disrespect because of who starred in it.

I fear that some technology developed for our military might suffer from quality issues because the people hired to develop it are chosen on the basis of their ability to get a top secret clearance rather than their technical aptitude.

A second language that has been acquired in one's adulthood (or probably in one's teen) is always a broken version of that language. You don't truly speak it.
