Why don't deaf people wear earplugs?

Um… this is a logical fallacy but I can't remember its name. In this case you are basically trying to relate two unrelated things, (A→B)→(C→D) where

A = [some] blind people
B = sunglasses
C = [some] deaf people
D = earplugs

There's nothing wrong with A→B or C→D but the middle arrow is wrong.

A blind person's eyes usually look weird, so the sunglasses are to hide them. A deaf person's ears usually look normal though, and even if they didn't the earsplugs wouldn't hide them.

^^^ Because there are different degrees of blindness and very few can see nothing at all. Many blind people can see light and darkness but not much else.

^that's true. I read somewhere that 1 in 6 classed as blind are completely without sight.

I have this problem. I spoke to my consultant who said that many who have photophobia have it for no reason at all and it's not the cause of some serious underlying eye condition.

Some of you may know what Albinism is? People with Albinism do have this problem. It's to do with the lack of pigment in the eyes. (they also lack the pigment in their skin & hair)

Probably, yes. A relative has a problem with her eyes which means her eyeball is black. Whereas you lot have the white part, the iris and the pupil. She knows you can see it and she doesn't like it. I am lucky in the sense that unless you get really close, you won't see anything unusual with my eyes.
