Would you sing, whistle, hum, skip, hop, dance around your neighborhood? Would you do these things as you leave your office and head towards your car? Would you do it if you were coming from school and walking to your dorm? Any type of scenario where strangers would hear or see you doing this.

I often hum or sing when I am walking to the car after work, shopping at school, etc. I usually don't realize I am doing it. Often it is a song that has got stuck in my head and will not leave!

Finally, I really like singing in the car with the radio, but who doesn't, right?

I work in DC and there are people who sing and dance. Who knows if they are homeless, on drugs, or just happy to be singing and dancing. I don't see anything wrong with it unless the singing is way loud and the lyrics are offensive to people. Some train stations in DC have various people singing or playing an instrument. Sometimes I see a group of 2-6 men singing sorta like the Temptations. They are quite good actually and have few CDs out. They have hats or something down on the floor where people can give them money or buy CDs.

Do the other people waiting for the bus stare at you, ignore you, or sing along? It would be cool to randomly sing some song then someone starts to sing along with you. I love singing and dancing. But I don't want DC police or secret service coming to get me thinking I'm nuts. If I were to skip near the White House singing to myself I think that would be frowned upon. Would you sing and skip in front of the palace in the UK?

  :lmao:

Yes, I sing along in my car all the time and sometimes play the air drums on my dash. I figure it is better than talking to myself. 8)

Nothing wrong with both singing and talking in the car. Some of the best conversations I have had have been with myself. Damn I'm interesting. And when you are bored talking with yourself, then you can sing.

I'm singing in the car, I'm singing in the car, I am about to hit a chestnut tree ... Doh!

I love talking to myself. Just make sure you don't talk to yourself around a huge crowd. But people can think you are talking to someone else. There are ear pieces for cell phones. They also have those hands free device to talk to people while driving. Other drives may presume that you are talking to yourself. I was a music major in college so I just love to sing and dance.

Oh yes, all the time.

I even managed to get a guy to actually sing alongside me and my mates would be like feeling embarrassed half of the times because my voice is seriously not that great either.

As a matter of fact, I probably would sing in front of the palace if I'm having one of my drunken days.

I am always singing and dancing in the office. As subtly as I can. I got reprimanded for all of my Tom Foolery. I work with kids, who doesn't want to make it fun?

I'm too embarassed to sing in front of people...

...but considering that I am a musician, once I get up on stage it's rather unavoidable

I would skip in front of a palace. I will skip wherever I darn well please. For some reason, I actually find that, for me, skipping uses much less energy than running or jogging.
