It's also my birthday today, so apparently I'm full of magical energy. So beware

Happy winter solistice to you too though I celebrate xmas.

I like December. Mainly because I live in England so its not too hot.

December is also good on account of xmas holidays.

Meh, school's stupid. There's a minimum temp. at which 'you can't work' so they send us home. And no maximum temp.

Annoying for someone like me who HATES HATES HATES HATES heat and NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER feels the cold.

Happy Winter Solstice to you all too.

I have a neighbour who hates the summer, well, heat really, as I do (last summer was almost unbearable) so we celebrate the nice coolness of winter on the day of winter solstice, just by spending the afternoon together, having a cuppa and a chat.
We made winter solstice cards this year too, black with black glittery stars. I love the winter night skies, so much better for star-gazing than summer.

Hey, it's better than the pseudo-Christian Christmas. I won't go into a rant out of respect for the merry-makers who would rather not hear it, but suffice to say I disagree with the holiday.

And a happy Solstice to anyone who follows it, though I hardly feel much like celebrating during the winter. Winters here are almost unbearably cold, and the gray skies and cold weather tend to make me feel depressed. But hey, like some of you said, at least it isn't unbearably hot.

I kinda wish I had the money to buy people gifts, because I didn't have it in me to draw anything this year. Maybe it's for the better, since people might understand my contempt for Christmas if I don't get them anything. Not that I don't like giving presents

To all my pagans friends*: Enjoy!

*note I don't really have any pagan friends on a local level, but if I did, I would be did and they were celebrating the Winter Solstice I would be wishing them all the best.

ah the satanic holidays that the paranoid delutional primatives types love to push on people that are not not demonically inspired/possessed.

What the **** did she say? I just get the feeling it was offensive to LaVey Satanists in general.

I wish you the same greetings. I've woken up with a hangover. That's why I said that horrible thing about December.

Merry Christmas! :)
