Anyone else go completely nuts when having to walk in rain?

I prefer receiving a hot iron in my face than having to walk outside while it's raining, it's really that bad.

Can anybody else relate to this?

I also have a HUGE dislike for showers. (not baths tho)

Still shower 4 times a week against my will.

I love walking in the rain. Unfortunately, I wear glasses and they get all wet. And I love to shower, especially when I have to wash my hair. Unfortunately, that usually means that I'm going to have to use the hair iron afterwards. That's why I wait until Friday afternoon to wash my hair. Then I can just let it dry by itself and not style it all weekend. I only style it after I wash it on Sundays, for the week.

I don't like it when it's cold and windy, but I do enjoy walking in the rain in summer or if it is warm enough. I like showers too, so sorry, but I can't relate. I just like drops.

I think it's partly because of my job too, I usually have to carry boxes filled with documents through the street that I need to copy in the building 300 meters further and taken back.

When it rains, the documents can get wet and damaged easily and it also increases the chance of me accidently tripping over for example.

I dislike showers too because I only run cold water over my head/face while taking them. It's pretty uncomfortable, but it's also great for facial skin and anti-aging.

I recently heard both my mother and my grandmother say that drizzle can cause headaches in some people. I was so perplexed! I quite like walking through drizzle. Heavy downpour is a different story, butI don't mind it that much if I have a good raincoat.

I'm not a shower person though. I have body dysmorphia, and it's uncomfortable to be naked. :/ Plus, belly.....

I shower once or twice a week. I suppose I should change that.

I shake my middle finger at the sky when it rains, it means I'll be trapped in a house full of hermits who won't stay out of my business. Not that they do when the sun shines, but at least then I have a decent chance of getting away from them. BTW showers suck, but I can "multi-task" to a degree and I get a better shave in by shower-before-bath

I have a lot of sensory sound issues when its raining if i'm in a forest because of all the water drops falling on the leaves and it makes me really paranoid, good thing i have earplugs to decrease it atleast a little :) And the rain makes everything so loud, like the world isn't loud enough already. Must be a terrible feeling for you though when its raining since you'd rather take a hot iron in your face, because i go walking every day i get soaked a lot during a year, i mostly ignore the rain now because i'm rather used to it but i don't dislike it any less, especially when i get home all drenched, but i can't let the weather stop me from walking because that would drive me insane x_x

Yes! I can relate to the OP about this, though probably rain wouldn't be as bad as hot iron. But yes, I hate rain.

If the forecast mentions any possibility of showers/rain, then I definitely carry an umbrella with me. Without one, I would be stuck wherever I happen to be when it starts raining. I hate the feeling of stickiness that I feel with water on my skin and through my clothing. It's absolutely uncomfortable. I don't know why other people are fine with it. Other people seem to think I'm odd because of this. But that's how I am.

I don't really like having a shower, but I do have one every day because I like the feeling of clean skin that I get after a shower.
