Highlights of your 2012!

With 2012 now nearly in the books, tell us how it was personally.

It had its ups and downs; I went to anime cons, met new friends, found this site....... it was fulfilling!

The best parts (not gonna bother with the downers):
-Fanime 2012, Anime Expo 2012, SakuraCon 2012 and KumoriCon 2012
-The Packers/Seahawks game (yeah, I know, still burns for some fans, but I am merely a fan, though.)
-Discovering this site, and this family known as WP.net, thanks, guys!

I quit drinking, bought two very nice fire agate rings, moved back to arizona, cut ties with my deadbeat dad, finally lost that damn stubbon 15 pounds, I'm alot more healthy, my anxiety has diminished, my mind is in alot better place, I'll be moving soon either on my own or to another state, I relised life really is alot better without beer. I really wouldnt have thought so because I've heard it all before and also it seemed like the cats meaow to drink. I loved it, but soon came to find what a horrible dis-atvantage I was putting myself in. Life really is alot better without drugs and alcohol

Testament's Dark Roots Of Earth came out in 2012. One of the better Albums to come out in awile.

In 2013 I want to work on my social skills even more and hopefully come out with some long lasting valueable friendships or a possible romatic connection. After that I want a job, I'm just ready to go back to work now. So hopefully a future employee will understand my situation and give me a chance at proving I'd be a good employee

not much to be happy about-lots of hurt although I finally found a therapist that will talk to me and that helps but there is a lot to go through still-a very hurtful year this year and the last half of 2011 too.

- I've been going out with my boyfriend for a year now.
- I got a new rat.
- I went to a horror movie convention and went to New Jersey/Pennsylvania for the first time.
- I found the art of zentangles.
- Marked my fifth year in a row of going to the King Richards Faire.
- My boyfriend proposed and I said yes.
- I'm going to be starting the new year with friends hopefully.
- I'm almost done with high school and then I'll take my break and go onto college.

i got to go to the seattle square pegs aspie meetup and meet Dox47
connected to the occasion above, i got to experience life in a million $$$$$$$ condo with a primo view of the seattle skyline.
i sent my music compilation CDs to several WPers- i experienced the appreciation of several Wrong Planeteers as a result.
i got several new adult toys.
but all of the above was neutralized by my bad bike accident last august which ruined the year for me. so i am basically neutral for the year. i tried to gift things to myself to make up for it, though.

The day that my mum finally accepted me as I am.

Doing my Wii Fit+ most days out of the week.

That break that I had watching The Olympics.

My last day of work knowing that I wouldn't have to face my old supervisor again.

Joining Swagbucks and making money with that.

Saying something to my mum about The Kinks for the first time in two years, even if it was only one thing like the two other times I've mentioned something once in 2009 and 2010. I rarely talk to my parents about my special interests.

In 2012,
-I stopped eating meat (last year's New Year's resolution)
-got more exercise
-moved to a better apartment
-learned more about myself
-got off psych meds
-*finally* graduated with my BA degree (magna cum laude!)
-started grad school

Plenty of negative I could dwell on, but I won't. Overall a very successful year

No highlights this year. It never happened to me before disastrous year. Nearly everything in my life has f****d up. At least I still have my parents, otherwise I´d be living on the streets right now.
