I like my name it suits me, it's not too commen,....sort of......, but not like some really long hard to spell name.

It is neither a weird name nor a common one, but it feels like a disconnected random collection of syllables I've been conditioned to respond to. sort of like Pavlov's dogs. Do they consider the bell to be their name even though they respond to it?

Nope, I don't like it anymore, so I shortened it and then it was ok. Kay sounds better.

I like my first name. Though Mars is the god of war, Mark was one of the apostles. I don't like my last name and considered changing it to my mother's maiden name.

My first name is uncommon. I always wished I was named Alexander or John or James.

My last name was difficult for me to pronounce clearly and I always had to spell it out for people. I often use a false name when making any orders or bookings on the phone.

Mine suits me quite well.
It's a Scandinavian adaptation of the Hebrew name 'Absalom'. Means, alternately, "bringer of peace' or 'father of peace'.

No thats my real name.

I didn't say it was unusual lol - I was the only Ian in my class at school - while not uncommon, its also not common. I also used to have trouble saying a "G" sound, together with difficulty getting the constantants on the end, which made saying my last name difficult.

I like it all right. It is unique. The only thing that bugs me about is sometimes people mispronounce it when they read my name off.
