...by randoms if you're extremely disgustingly ugly than if you're normal looking or pretty?

Something tells me that when you're repulsive looking, you attract more sociopaths and psychopaths than when you're normal.

Is this true?

I believe it is just the opposite.

Even children who were murdered tend to have been prettier than the average.

Perhaps Evil feels compelled to destroy Beauty.

Actually, I think Uprising may be on to something. If you're extremely unappealing (physically or personality-wise), you're often alone, making you more vulnerable to opportunistic predators.

On the other hand, I imagine that for some predators, selecting challenging prey is more exciting, though.--thrill of the chase and all that. They'd be the ones to go after the appealing people.

I think ugly people who look like monsters are more likley to get murmured by an angry mob with torches & pitchforks than pretty people

I would think you would be more likely to be stalked with a pleasing appearance. Someone may find them very attractive which can then lead to an unhealthy obsession (stalking).

I have been stalked but never murdered as of yet.

I would say the more social you are, the more likely you are to attract deviant behavior.
Women probably a lot more so than men.

Isn't that simply by virtue of meeting more people? I take breaks from social interaction every once in a while because I've noticed that if I mingle too much, that's when I start encoutering the crazies.

I don't think it's because you're often alone or if you're vulnerable, I think it's mainly because you're basically too ugly for them to exist, like they would be thinking "kill it, before it lays eggs!", like they feel ashamed to be human because of you.

I think sociopaths and psychopaths really think like this.

What a scary idea, but that might be true!

I doubt it. Random psycho killers have no pattern or reason for what they do, and each one is different and goes after totally different types of victims, and that's one reason why they often don't get caught for a long time. No pattern to follow up on.

If that were the case, I wouldn't have survived puberty.

so far, the only place I have been stalked or murdered has been online... The stalking is far more disturbing in such a location.
