Just wanted to point something out:-
Prisoner's Dilemma is a common simplification of interactions, that many of you probably know about already but you can look it up on google or wikipedia if you don't know, then read the rest of this short note.
Anyway, the essence of the game is not about what happens to YOU, but about what you decide to do to the other person. Do you defect or cooperate? That is the decision you make. It doesn't really matter what the other person does. You just have to ask yourself, do they deserve your cooperation or not? Simple.
