I can imagine the wiring/ductwork on the other side... in fact, I can't help but imagine the wiring/ductwork. but the individual vents/lights don't hold much interest for me.

ceilings in general. especially if they have nice and complex patterns or odd subdivisions or there's wrong symmetry.

Does laughing at a ceiling fan after having one too many count?

when i was in kindergarten and first grade, i had a fascination/obsession with heater return vents, i would go into closets and look upwards, and when i saw one i'd hoarsely shout "HEEDUR!"

I don't think about them much but I do have to remember to dust my ceiling fans weekly or else they get that dust build up. I never remember to dust them when I dust the furniture. I should clean the air vents but I don't. I clean the globes of the light fixtures about once a year. I take them off and wash them.

I sometimes get caught up in staring at the big air vents in stores, especially if they're like concentric squares inside squares inside squares. I trace the shapes with my eyes over and over.
