I noticed this thing, I never had much of a problem with it before. So I figured that it was probably because people in my old environment were a lot more self-conscious about letting everyone know their mucus and their noses are parting ways. I am a sort of a person who'll just go to the bathroom, close the door behind me and then try to solve this particular kind of issue.
But since I moved, people in my new city seem to be obsessed with shameless nose-blowing. Anytime, anywhere. Library, in the middle of the class. Tens of times, hundreds of times. Once you spot a blower, he'll just keep reminding you of his presence. I call these people "serial blowers". I once (when I just got here) sat next to a girl in the library. She must have done it around two hundred times, because I sat there trying to count the number for four hours and was hurting all along. It makes me feel like this :
I don't know whether it is due to different mentality (or different noses xD) or whatever the heck it is, but I get so pissed off about it. (The bonus is that they leave their used handkerchiefs lying about on the table in front of them.)
The sound itself makes my brain freeze and makes me want to strangle those people to death or knock them over, just to make them stop. I keep calm on the outside, but on the inside it gets me absolutely boiling.
I keep noticing this, and I was wondering if anyone else has a problem with this?
Or are you a serial blower?
Is this common, or am I the only one who minds? Because when I mention this to people, they just give me a blank stare.
