I know this is a stupid question, but I have nothing better to do. Well, do I?

I'd say that you don't act as a Londoner as such, but your avatar and obsession leads members to assume that you may be from sunny ol' England.

yes(i haven't met any londoners before though). but you seem to enjoy and love your city like people in nyc and other large interesting cosmopolitan cities do. people that live in the suburbs and small towns generally hate on where they live and find it boring. londoners seem very fond of their city.

She lives in British Columbia. Not in London or anywhere near it.

For what it's worth: no, I don't think you do. You're interested in a London of a certain time but that doesn't mean you are a Londoner no matter how much you want to be like one. :)

That's okay. It was a very nice compliment, though. :)

i'm about 20 miles from nyc and everyone here really considers themselves a "new yorker" and are orientated towards the city. it's where your heart is that matters, not necesarily where you physically exist.
