Need Help Identifying This Car Part

I sell stuff online to bring in some extra money, and one of the things I sell are car parts. I have this light lens thing which I have never seen such a style lens before and there are no part numbers on it to help me identify it. I was wondering (and hoping) if there may be someone here that recognizes it or may have some idea of what it is off of, what it was used on, etc.

where did you get it?

I think I got it at a swap meet, which is my primary source of parts inventory. This was sitting in someones dollar box, so it wasn't labeled or anything like that.

As an update; I finally figured out what car this light lens is from. It turns out this is a rear sail panel interior light lens from a 1967-1968 Mercury Cougar.
