She seemed to have it all...

She seemed to have been given looks, talent, self-confidence, the courage perform publicly, to believe in herself, to form friendships, to become financially independent, all the blessings in life that many (or most) Aspies can only dream of.

In a way I resent that she could throw away a life that could have been lived with her children.

So she wasn't filling big venues, or recording anymore...she could have sung in clubs locally, paid the bills, lived quietly; thousands of women do.

I suppose that there is no understanding another's pain, or the power of addiction.

R.I.P, Mindy, perhaps your life will wake someone up and make a decion to get help.

she feared that she would never see her children again. that was what pushed her over the edge.

i hope she didn't spend too long in outer darkness, if at all.

The more that I read about her, the more I wonder if she had Bi-polar Dosorder (Manic Depressive).

Google her, her full name was Mindy McCready, watch some youTube videos....she was so talented, but became so lost.

Cannot imagine the depth she must have been at - having one's children taken was more than she could bear. Rest in Peace Mindy. I hope she can.
