A dog fell through my ceiling the first tine on February 7 last year. Here is what I wrote someone about it then:
Quote:
A few minutes ago while sitting at my computer here at work, a dog fell through my ceiling.
...
It's a suspended ceiling. The back of the office is a storage area that is open to the suspended ceiling for the rest of the office. The dog went up the stairs and jumped over a small ledge onto the ceiling tiles.
It wouldn't have been so bad if the dog had fell through where it first went onto the ceiling tiles, but it went into a panic and started trying to save itself. As a result, it got further out to where the ceiling tiles weren't suspended as well as they were near the well.
That also means that it tore up a bunch more ceiling.
...
We have three people at the office who bring dogs to work.
P___'s dog is small, well trained, and very little trouble.
L___ brings two dogs. One big dog and one small dog. The big dig is too rambunctious and the small will go pee in people's offices when they aren't there. I try to keep my doors closed.
C___ bring used to bring two dogs, but one was really old and died a few months ago. So now he brings one. It's a pointer about a year old. That's the one that came through the ceiling.
I don't mind dogs around the office as long as they are calm and well trained. Only P___'s dog fits that description.
The dog that fell through a few minutes ago was the same one as before. This time it was in a different part of the ceiling and did a lot more damage as well as landing on some computer equipment.
I hope this isn't an annual event.
