A dog fell through my ceiling the first tine on February 7 last year. Here is what I wrote someone about it then:

It would make my job a lot more lively if a dog fell through the ceiling, as long as it wasn't hurt and didn't land on my head. I'm more likely to have an engineer fall through my ceiling, though.

Most of the purebred pointers/setters I've encountered have been dumb as stumps.

Holy cow. It fell through the ceiling?

Where I work, we have a program that trains service dogs for people with disabilities and my department shares comon walls with the dog program, so lots of barking, whining, dog smell, etc. As cute as they are, especially as puppies, it can be a distraction when you are on the phone with someone.

So, I feel your pain, but am really feeling lucky it hasn't been raining dogs here, lol.

Last time a dog dropped through my ceiling I was on 4 hits of acid.

I lived in a bedsit for 5 years.

One evening I could hear an animal scampering around above my ceiling and the light swayed as something was pulling on the cords, the light barking the animal made convinced me that the fella above me has obtained a puppy dog, and was hiding it from the landlady underneath his floorboards.

A day or two later however, I heard that same barking on my windowledge and looked over to see a squirrel.

I had to read through the title three times, kept thinking I had read it wrong

Closest I have come to that is fishing a cat out of my wall. Twice. Not fun, not only did I have to deal with the rash caused by the insulation, but cat bites/scratches from a panicking feline

LOL, that's an awesome story!! I agree I totally wish that would happen at my work! Although I wouldn't want it to happen at home...roofs cost a lot to fix ya know!

I'd love the furry companionship! C'mon, powers-that-be... send me a furry creature falling from the 'bove!

On the plus side, my new volunteer job tomorrow has a big ol' friendly dog wandering around the factory floor!

The only time a dog would fall through the ceiling is if I was on drugs.

Ha ha,once I had a horse kick the screen door in,it was on the porch.

It's raining cats and dogs.

I have not had a dog fall through my ceiling.

But there were some birds, finches or sparrows I think, that used to fall down the chimney in the summer, and get stuck in the (cold) wood-stove. It took a while to figure out where the scrabbling noise was located. The moment the door to the wood-stove was opened, the panicked bird landed on the ceiling fan, and just sat up there going round and round and round. (After a while we turned it off & got the bird back outside.) half an hour later it happened again.
