opinions on one direction

just watched the brits 2013 and i think its amazing that one direction are nominated, i dont like them, but i dont like most of the music that other people seem to, like rhianna and robbie williams, awful.

love muse though

Cheesy as all hell, but better than rap like 50 Cent. I file them with the boy bands/Justin Bieber type music...meant for younger people/those that don't like music that makes you think.

hmm rap music is the worst, i dont know about young people music, i have been young and never liked that music, i dont understand it because it just does not sound good and everything is the same. each to there own i suppose :roll:

I don't like them. Just hearing a couple snippets of one of their songs just drives me nuts. Their music is just plain awful.

Not everyone agrees with that, though. I know someone who said that someone that they were talking to thought the band was "the new Beatles". That person also thinks they're awful. And we both do not think that One Direction is not the new Beatles.

I don't like them in the least, but then again I don't really like much of anything in the music world post-70s. A few occasional gems catch my attention though .

I admit it, I love their song "What Makes You Beautiful". I like to pretend that it's the song that my imaginary friends dedicated to me; it's the least they could do since there are countless songs that I have dedicated to them.

They're not high on my list, but they're not at the bottom, either.

More like just an over-rated boy band if you ask me.

I recently found out that they covered "One Way Or Another" by Blondie.

I LIKE THAT SONG!! ! AND THEY RUINED IT!! ! :evil:

My Mum even said "Can I shoot them?" When we found this out. :lol:
