Since Me Old China won't be here for a few days, I've thought that it would be nice to do a tribute of him.

The things that I love about Tequila are that he's loyal and he's willing to help me out. I also enjoy his photography, and the fact that we share a common obsession...FOOD! :D

Ooh, a love-in thread all of my own. For those of you who were wondering, I had nothing to do with this being started. :)

I don't know where anyone got that idea from. The furthest I'm going is to the pub for a few hours. I'm sure I can leave you all for that long at least - you're not babies after all. ;)

He's an interesting person who usually has valuable information or insight to add to a conversation.

At least, that's what I've gathered so far. Correct me if I'm wrong. Or don't; this is the Tequila-love thread.

Tequila isn't for me. Just a little bit, and I'm close to puking, if I don't puke immediately. Not bad with a little assistance though.

OH, you don't mean the liquor, you mean the person..... :P

lol - ever had a "shiver shake" ?

I saw it in a move (The Cowboy Way, with Woody Harelson and Keifer Sutherland).

First you lick the neck of a girl, put salt on the neck and lick the salt off (girl shivers)
drink the shot of tequila (ideally from a shot glass wedged in her cleavage)
Bite a wedge of lime the girl is holding in her teeth (girl shakes)

I have tried it. She does shiver and shake  Otherwise, I am not a big tequila (drink) fan.

With tequila, I have taken a shot, swallowed it, and immediately thrown just the one shot back up. Even with other alcohol in my system. I think it has to do with the whole 8 minute swallow time or whatever. (If that number or fact is wrong, feel free to correct me, can't say I remember where I heard / saw it.)

On its own, this is reason enough to avoid drinking it. If it is mixed, I can handle it. With the method you suggested, not only would I feel ill, but its quite possible I'd be slapped.

What's worse, I'm from Texas, and drinking tequila is practically expected.
