They call it ontological insecurity. So sometime I send e-mails to myself. It's not much, I have to admit.

As some background I don't talk to anyone since 25 days except the newspaper seller and the janitor.

esisto - my Italian is not good. Would that translate as 'I exist'?

Do you sometimes feel that you don't exist? I have those feelings too sometimes, that the part that is conscious of itself, the 'I' has disappeared. It eventually comes back but sometimes I wander around in a kind of limbo.

I am not sure if this will make sense or not. If it does, good, if not, feel free to ignore it. :)

It's important that you get both physical and psychological nourishment in order to thrive.

Yes it means “I exist”. When I posted it (I wouldn’t do it in this moment) I had this bad limbo sensation.

When I started to drive I felt pleasure in not being squeezed by the car behind me, so much as I needed to have some hint that I was alive somehow. When I was in a gentle queue I also felt somehow gratified by people not trying to push me out of the queue and respecting my existence.

It was a particularly bad holiday period, TGIS, which means Thanks God it’s Sunday evening and it’all over. I will not rely anymore on my own e-mail.

I don't have any issues with the question of whether or not I do in fact exist. It's the existance of others that I've always had problems with.

Simple test to verify your existence: punch a cop.

(do not do this... if you do, it's your own damn fault for listening to me... and why anyone would listen to me is beyond me)
