here is the basic premise.. dont know where to go tonight? write down the names of 6 places to eat, as an option, make one of the choices one that you really rather not do, another a place really swanky, that you can afford, but will set you back a bit for the month, and so on.. roll the die and away you go.. the options are limitless and the options endless.. if you have those RPG dies you can even go for more options.. i go from one extreme to the other.. i will go for months on strict routine and then i go to the other extreme and shake things up every day, so this is an interesting way to do it.. here are a few sites explaining more on "dice living"

Variety is the spice of life!

Where to eat is a good idea. I'm horribly indecisive when it comes to stuff like that, since a lot of the time I simply don't care. I can't make a choice because none of the choices really seems to be of more value than any of the others.

Who to ask out? Damn, not to that point yet. They don't make one or two sided die (ok, they make coins that can be flipped, that's not my point. :P) so this would be more difficult.

What movies to rent? Eh... I get picky with movies. I rarely go to the theater to see movies any more, and I can't remember the last time I've rented one. Combination of not liking being in public, theater at times being too loud, not being overly interested in the movies coming out, having a hope I can download a DVD quality version of a movie first, before I decide its worth owning, so I don't feel like I've wasted $10-20.

I may have to give the whole where to eat (or possibly even generalized to what to eat) idea a try though.
