...Know I'm a brony now.

I don't even go out of my room that much, but a couple of times I've come out when I was wearing my Rarity shirt and my Fluttershy pendant that I got from Etsy, and I even have buttons of Lyra and the Cutie Mark Crusaders on my hoodie....I also have pony socks and a pony lanyard that I hang my room keys on. One girl saw me in my Rarity shirt, and she smiled and said, "I see you like ponies....my brother watches that show." And I walked past some other girls when they had their door open and they noticed my pony buttons and Fluttershy pendant. They seem to be okay with it, though, which I'm glad about. I was always made fun of and criticized for liking "age-innapropriate" things when I was younger, so this is a very nice change. I think they also know I like Wreck-It Ralph and Cars too...I have both a WIR and a Mater shirt.

After the ridicule I faced for my special interests as a kid and a teenager, they haven't been something I publicly advertise, but I'm grateful for support and understanding where I can get it.

i know what it is like to have an interest that nobody else seems to get.
