There are a few really small brewers here in town, but honestly their stuff is hit or miss in my experience...

However, I really like the brews from Boulevard in Kansas City and Diamond Bear in Little Rock.

Both brewers make consistently great Pale Ales and IPAs. Boulevard also makes an excellent Porter and a fantastic witbier (summer only) called Zon.

I must admit, I also like a few brews from Spoetzl Brewery, Shiner, TX, but they are pretty much nation wide these days...

Love both of them, and New Glarus from WI. There's a large beer tasting event over here (Hops N Props), where they all have gathered along with many other excellent breweries. Dogfish Head doesn't distribute as far anymore, and I do miss their experimentation.
