So, what do you guys do when you are home and coughing up flem?

(Given that you have a job or study and aren't at home 24/7)

Eat well if I'm not too sick to eat.
Take medication if I have any.
Read a book or use the Internet if I'm not too sick.

Ichinin, feel better.

I can't read when sick... I could never touch the book again if I did (OCD) it sucks cause a book that I have been waiting a long time for came out on the 15th, I haven't been able to read it yet. I've been sick since the 9th myself. I was treating the wrong things before I realized what I had, so it became really bad. Almost shaken it now. Spent most of the past two weeks crashed in the recliner in front of the tv, only energy to get up and brush teeth then crash again. My poor dogs are peeved at me for lack of exercise, I'm making it up to them now I'm better.

Just getting over a four-day bout of sinusitis, myself, you have my sincere sympathy..... drink lots of hot tea, and hot soup.
It is important to stay hydrated.

I hope that you get well soon.

Thanks, for the get wells peeps, but i am not seeking sympathy, I am more interested in "what can you do when you are home and sick".

Currently in bed here watching season 5 of CSI Vegas on DVD for the 4th time in my life... its getting old. I've been webbrowsing, playing games (dont work that well when i have a headache) and just watching stuff (which dont work well when light gets painful and i have to turn off my computer). And the normal eating/drinking.

Thats what i normally just do.

Same here. That's what I've been doing all day, actually.

Read or go on the internet. I haven't been sick in quite a while, though. Oddly, I've been wanting to get a cold or something. I haven't stayed home in a long time, and I could really use a break from work. I remember how much I enjoyed the three weeks after my surgery last year. It was painful and I couldn't bend down, but it wasn't really much I couldn't handle. I was up and about the day after, and I got three whole weeks.

Yep - and sleep. Your body repairs itself best while sleeping.

Get well soon.

I listen to my husband ramble about stuff and wish he'd shut up, or that I'd just dragged my sick a$$ into work anyway because I'd get more rest that way.
