Since I can't sleep, yet again, I might as well make use of my time. I have to go to the grocery store tomorrow and get food for the week. I'm planning my meals ahead of time. I know that one night we need to have tacos for my son and I can make chicken and dumplings another night for my husband. I don't know what else that I want to make though. I don't want to fry chicken or steak, we had that the other day and had fried pork chops last night. I'm sick of chicken in the oven too. I might make a pork roast but I still need four more nights of supper. Maybe breakfast for dinner one night? I have some manicotti in there and I'll make that I guess.

Suggestions please!

Maybe a nice pasta dish. Cheap, with many choices from plain spaghetti to lasagna.

I'm half Italian, we have pasta usually at least twice a week. I mentioned Manicotti. Pasta, I can do. But they get tired of it. :-(

How about chicken Alfredo with pasta or pasta pesto with chicken. Or how about pizza and salad or cheese burger and ranch cut fries. Does your family like Chinese food and could try sweet and sour chicken with rice.
