I'm pretty sure I just had a hallucination

I'm not putting this in the other psychological conditions sub-forum because a single hallucination is not a disorder. This is random and pointless so I'm putting it in the Random Discussion section.

It's such a tiny thing that I probably shouldn't be posting this at all. I'm only posting it because of my wishful thinking. I want it to be significant. I know it's not but I wish it were a herald of a real problem so now I'm obsessing about such a small thing. I'm just grasping at straws.

I was sitting here in the living room watching TV with my Dad. In the corner of my eye I saw him tilt his head towards the hole in the wall in the kitchen and move his lips while I heard him say "hey" as if he was calling to someone in the kitchen. There was no follow up which confused me. Mom was in the kitchen but she didn't answer and dad just didn't say anything after that. I thought it was unusual because if he called once and didn't get an answer why wouldn't he call again or get up and walk into the kitchen. He was acting as if he never said it in the first place.

I thought I misheard but I couldn't figure out how I misheard or how I saw him moving as if he was saying it while I misheard at the exact same time. The only thing I could think of was that I had hallucinated but I wanted to be sure. I wanted to ask him but if I did and he said he didn't say anything that'd be weird so I hesitated for about 10 seconds. Then I asked him if he had said "hey". He said no. I realized I waited a bit to ask him so I followed up by asking him if he had said it within the past 30 seconds. He still said no.

I realize that since it was only 1 syllable I could've misheard but I'm 95% sure it was a hallucination. Then again that's what I want to think so I'm biased. I'm still 95% sure because I also saw him move his lips while I heard him say it.

I've told a psychiatrist about an isolated hallucination before so I know that this is un-concerning. An isolated event is no indication of a disorder. I'm only writing this because I'm kind of fixated on it. I know it's not but I wish it were something more so I'm trying to make it more significant than it is. I've decided to post it anyway.

Did the 'hey!' come from a character on the TV you were watching maybe?

Maybe but I'm not sure about what I saw. It could've been a mistake though. 15 minutes later mom's cell phone rang and I thought it was part of the TV show. I was expecting one of the characters to pick up a phone.
