I always hate the extra crap that restaurants and cafeterias put on my food. The college cafeteria sometimes has salmon but always puts a bunch of crap on it. Applebee's always serves their salmon in a lake of honey sauce.

I like my food with all the fixins.

After reading the title of this thread, I thought it was a reference to grilled chicken, with the skin removed. I think that a while back, Popeye's Chicken had something called Naked Chicken Strips, which were grilled chicken strips. I don't know if it was for a limited time, or if they're on the permanent menu.

Another chain of restaurants, Buffalo Wild Wings, has something similar.

Yes, but only because it's the wrong set of clothes. I don't want spices and the world's finest herbs on my beef! I just want to splotch tomato sauce all over it and eat it, dammit!!

I've been to Applebees twice in my entire life. The food there is coated with this weird custom applebees seasoning. it doesn't taste good. The coat everything, fries, steak, potatoes. Even the shrimp is coated in this seasoning. I don't think I'll be going to applebees again.

Never been to Applebee's. I'm more of a Chili's and TGI Friday's person myself.

I mean really, if they have bees in their apples...

Oh, and I gotta have lots of salt, so it looks like the dew on the grass in my front yard every morning. Otherwise it won't taste as good.

My town's Applebee has a sign in front of it saying they are hiring "smiley faces". Which sums up my problem. They hire alot young cute college bimbos and care less about making good food.

Ooh la la...naked food. I like the part that says Naked. :P

Only joking, it depends on what kind of food it is.

I don't like the food "naked". I have a lot of sauces, spices, and other condiments in the kitchen. Since my family doesn't like them very much, save for the basics like ketchup or mayonnaise, I end up buying a lot of them, which is cool with me. When I cook a dish, I add all sorts of seasonings, and also cook a side dish to go along with what I'm making. That's also why I like eating in restaurants; they add the extra stuff that, in my opinion, makes the food taste better.

This is me in a nut shell. Hamburgers with nothing but the bun and ketchup, pizza with no toppings, etc.

I want something to spice up tofu. Otherwise, it taste like nothing at all. I add spices and fry that stuff.

I like the way food tastes. There are virtually no condiments in my house.

Salt, a pot of tomato sauce, nothing else.

I get all pissy when lettuce is on my plate of fried fish/chicken. Same with the sauce. The only sauce i'll take is ketchup and ONLY if it is separated from the food itself and used for dipping purposes!

I don't like foods mixed together. I don't like the looks, the smell, and when I am brave enough to take a bite, I don't like the taste. I guess the closest things to foods mixed together that I like are salads and I don't even like them with a lot of different things in them (I really like Caesar Salads).
