My sisters are watching the Disney Channel right now, and a few minutes ago this commercial for stuffed animals that help kids deal with nightmares and the dark came on:

My opinion? It's a cute concept, and it obviously works, but it's kinda gimmicky....I mean, couldn't you do pretty much the same thing with another stuffed animal - say, one the kid already has - and save 20 bucks? I mean, I get that it's all elaborately set up to help kids conquer their fears, and if it works, then that's fantastic....but I'm just saying, my stuffed animals have always done a fine job of protecting me from whatever might be stalking me in the night, and they've never required any "training" or gold star stickers.
Your thoughts?
