Allowing for maybe a quick visit to the toilet, and Iam talking about sleeping here, not just staying in bed, whats the longest sleep you have?

I used to frequently at the weekend have 17 hours solid sleep.

after 5 weeks of army basic training, we were sent home on "exodus" holiday season break, and on my PFC pay I could not afford [circa 1984] air fare, so I had to buy a bus ticket, and ride for 4 and a half days/nights, and since the seats wouldn't recline, I was awake [but in a daze] for all of those 4 and a half days, so by the time I got home I was so tired that I slept for 18+ hours a day for the next 4 days until my batteries were recharged.

The longest that I've slept was 13 hours on the weekend when I was in my later years of elementary school.

My pills normally put me to sleep but I'm not sure if I can count the time I overdosed on them as me being asleep. You could say I was asleep the whole time but you could also say I was unconscious. If we say I was asleep then I was asleep for around 30 hours. I was knocked out by the sedative effects of my pills at around 10 pm on a Saturday and I woke up Monday morning.

The longest I've slept is probably a bit over 12 hours.

The weirdest I've woken up from sleep, however, is when I slept from the morning until dinner after being awake all night.
I thought it was morning, so I wanted to take my allergy pills and have breakfast. Then, after I took them, I looked at the clock and it was about 5.30 PM.. I became quite disoriented.

Something similar happened to me once, I woke up at around 6pm, it was winter so it was dark. I looked at my clock, thought it was 6am and kept trying to fall asleep. I didn't realize what time it was until I turned on the tv and non of the shows that should have been on, were on

The realization of time at those moments.. very strange.

12+ hours. I've had to work some long nights with my job, but the long sleep usually occurs not the next time I go to bed, but the time after that.

Longest I've slept? 20 1/2 hours. Usually I like to get 10-16 hours or sleep, but since I live with my grandparents that isn't an easy thing to do; they like to wake up early and don't like it when I take naps.
